Our Mission Statement

Welcome to Mountainview United Church - a spiritual family embracing diversity and offering Christian worship, fun, fellowship and opportunities to serve our community and beyond.

As Mountainview enters its 53rd year of service to our community, we encourage all present members of our Congregation, and those who are searching for a Church Community, to search our Site and discover our involvement in the many aspects of Church Life.

Our Minister, The Reverend Margaret Bain, is dedicated to serving the many needs of the Congregation. She prepares thought-provoking Services and Sermons which focus on the Spiritual, Social and Economic Needs of our members, our community, and people in countries around the World.

Our Board uses Teams to plan and focus on the perceived Church Membership, Fellowship, Outreach, and Spiritual needs of the people we serve.

We have very active Social programs which provide activities such as: Badminton, Cards (Bridge and Bid Euchre), Exercise Classes (Wednesday, Friday), Movie Nights, Neighbourhood Seniors' Coffee and Chat, Study Groups (Book Discussions), after Sunday Service Teas and Lunches, and Community Involvement Activities such as Out Of The Cold and Breakfast Servings at Community Churches.  40th St. Catharines Scouts (Beavers, Cubs, Scouts) meet weekly from September to June.
